Last December I had a burden for clean water. With donations we were able to give each family a Medidrop tab for Christmas that would provide clean water for a year. This is the same company.
The burden for clean water did not leave. With the unfortunate illness from the parasite we now have clean water on the entire compound. We know God did not give it to us for just our personal use. Please pray he will show us his purpose for this amazing gift we have been given. Thank you so much to those who donated. What an amazing, great gift. They will be finished hopefully by end of the day.

So this is happening… and I am concerned! I need your help!!! Bilharzia is the second worst parasite in Uganda. Malaria being first. I’ve had both and I feel bilharzia is worse It appears to be in the water system. Everyone is getting it. Every one of our families, kids, staff, and me and Alyssa have been sick. So many missionaries in my BS are struggling. Ugandan workers I’ve had in are talking about it. My intern from the US left with 24 hour notice because of it. Our Doctor here had it and said the water people are upset that they are questioned about it. Until it’s a pandemic it most likely will not be dealt with. I’m trying to find a way for Alyssa to come home. Until then, I had a water person come today. We can install a water system in the entire compound for $1500. I told him I don’t have have the money. The more I think about it the more I feel we need to do it. We still have the problem of going outside the compound but we can can only deal with one thing at a time. I hate to think of spending that type of money on water, but we cannot get rid of the parasite if ever source of water has it. We even started boiling water again. It feels like Covid all over again. I am not called to go home. There is too much good we are doing here and I want to continue the work God is calling us to. If you would like to help, please PM me and I’ll send the tax deductible link to give. Please read up on this and look at images. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/schistosomiasis/ These are three of our staff who have been very sick. They cannot afford to go to the doctor but all have the same symptoms. They test for malaria and typhoid, which are inexpensive, but they come back negative. They have the same symptoms of those who can afford bilharzia testing and it’s bilharzia. Unfortunately they cannot afford treatment but they keep going on and coming to work. If we can provide better water that week help. We’ll talk to families tomorrow about bathing with the treated water from the water tabs we have them.
