![]() Some days the pain is so much to bear, and yet I stand in awe of how God is able to comfort and move us forward one step at a time. We spent Saturday night in the hospital with one of our mothers who is very sick. We went to pick another family up for church yesterday and mama was too weak to go with. I wept thru chuch as her child slept on my lap knowing the reality of death in this place and praying God will bring healing. Then as we were we dropping everyone off after a long day, we found this mama in the market selling hard boiled eggs. Something she does every night after leaving her day job. I asked why she was working. She should be home resting. She said “I need to work, mom. I need to buy vegetables for the kids.” I again wept silently as I dropped the rest off, went home and crawled bed trying again to process the daily reality of our families here. I went to bed interceding and praising God for the opportunity to serve these beautiful families and and feeling so thankful for each one of you who Continue to bless us thru your encouragement, prayers, financial support and so much more. Please pray for these ladies. We will take several back for checkups this week and will consider how to get to the root of the long term conditions. Praise God for the hard and yet wonderful door he has opened to treat our sick ones. Pray for favor and the day when they can walk down the road feeling strength in their bodies as the work to care for their young ones.
