a busy day

​It was such an wonderful day. I cannot stop chuckling at some of the things that happened.
My day started at 5 am with the kickoff to Pledge Talk with my friend and professional counselor Mark Oelze in KS. I cannot recommend PledgeTalk enough. Best communication program ever. And it’s ask free. PM if you want more details. It is in the US.
Next I got to talk with my mom for 1/2 hour until the minutes ran out. We have been trying to figure out a good way to talk and I finally bought International minutes and it worked great. So good to catch up.
Then we had interrupted staff meetings all morning as people came to buy from our garden. Whoever brings in the customers gets paid a little. Two of our ladies helped get the things from the garden and they got paid some.
Out of what we earned today’s we were able to pay two of our ladies who came to dig, one for bringing the customer, one for helping take the customer around to gather food and even had a little left to put in the garden envelope for seeds for planting.
The goal is for each micro business to fund itself and help provide income for our ladies and the community. while paying them I was able to train practically on business skills.
We then had a quick lunch and off to help Nalongo with her home, eating chicken and chips (fries) on the ground in the dark and getting home around 9 pm.
Time for bed so we can be prepared for our ladies program tomorrow where we will continue sewing washable sanitary pads, trying to figure out a good washable diaper pattern, Bible Study, savings program and just fellowshipping and enjoying community together
