teacher's letter: Herbert and peace

​I received a letter yesterday from the teacher of Herbert and Peace, the two students that we are sending to school at ATK International. I hope you'll read his letter below.
For reference while reading the letter, Herbert is 14 and was no longer in school due to lack of funds. He was learning a trade. Now he is in school and hopes to be a doctor.
"Hi mum, Praise the Lord!
This is teacher Richard of your daughter Peace and your son Harbert from ATK.
We thank God for the gift of life that He has blessed us with and the protection against our enemies.
Your pupils ( Harbert and Peace) today asked me to send you greetings in Jesus Name and promises to concentrate in studies.
Mum, it was today that i came to learn that your son was doing some kind of welding( fabrication)and that his minds had concentrated there, but now he says he wants to study, Mum indeed we thank you for all these changes in the lives of young people, may the Good Lord fulfills the desires of your heart.
Peace, can now read and speak good English with friends at school, something she could not do before you admitted her at ATK, Oooh what a change you have put in her life!! Indeed you came to change the community (Matthew 28:19)
We pray that the Lord may open His treasure for you mum to change more in Africa.

Such wonderful news. On another note, some of the other students in our program have been sent home due to unpaid school fees. TTWWK has decided to start making monthly payments, along with their mamas, so that their children can stay in school.
Do you know that a family will sacrifice food in order to send their children to school? Yes, they will go to school hungry, but at least they will be in school.
If you would like to help with the monthly fees, that would be wonderful. For now we will split $50 monthly between our families. Thank you.
